11.11.2012-  Bankhead Sextet (give or take)

Recorded the Harrison Bankhead Sextet at The Hungry Brain in Chicago, as the closing set of the 2012 Umbrella Fest.  In the hours leading up to the performance, the group was reduced to a quintet before being expanded to a septet, and then finally an octet.  At least fourteen different instruments were used in the continuous 70+ minute set.

Recorded Ken Vandermark’s original piece (re) Compose: an audio-visual, electro-acoustic performance at DePaul University in Chicago.  The group (Tim Daisy-percussion, James Falzone-clarinet, Lou Mallozzi-electronics, Tomeka Reid-cello, Jason Roebke-bass, Ken Vandermark-clarinet) accompanied the artwork of Richard Hull.
